Project Background
China Mobile Jilin serves a wide regional network and supports many information services through diverse O-domain platforms.
The localization initiative covered several core O-domain applications that demanded strong Oracle compatibility as well as reliable migration of large object volumes and cross-domain data calls.
Challenges and Requirements
- The project covered multiple O-domain systems such as integrated resource platforms, customer-performance systems, core-network workbenches, and orchestration tools.
- The database layer included 7.51 million objects, 1.58 million lines of PL/SQL, and 23.7 TB of Oracle data.
- Critical systems contained special uses of Oracle syntax and functions, making compatibility requirements especially strict.
- Some systems depended on data access to B-domain and M-domain platforms, which raised the complexity of localization.
Implementation Approach
Flexible HA topologies on Highgo V9
Highgo used Oracle-compatible mode on V9 and combined 1+3, 1+2, and 1+1 clusters to support HA switching, read-only offloading, and simplified operations across different services.
Cross-physical-cluster access optimization
The project optimized remote-table iteration logic so that data volume could be reduced before local result sets were materialized.
Cutover rollback protection
The migration path supported synchronization for regular tables, partitioned tables, sequences, and DDL changes, with second-level delay for emergency fallback.

- Supported graphical text import and export with exception recording that does not interrupt the full import process.
- Optimized cross-physical-cluster data access to reduce local data-set size in remote access scenarios.
- Implemented rollback capability with synchronization for regular tables, partitions, sequences, and DDL.
- Handled complex workloads such as 10-plus-table joins, online DDL, and trigger-driven data changes with strong performance.
